Local Bodybuilder Nicholas Albert one point closer to Mr. Olympia spot

Local Professional bodybuilder Nicholas Albert captured his first point in his professional career, in the process inching one step closer to competing in Mr. Olympia, the biggest Bodybuilding Stage.

The point, which he earned by clinching 5th place in the heavyweight category, is the first part of his bid to reach the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Olympia.

The IFBB Mr. Olympia, known officially as the Joe Weider’s Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend, is the most prestigious professional bodybuilding competition in the world.

Nicholas Albert will next compete in professional shows in Texas, USA, and then Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, seeking to garner more points towards a place at Mr. Olympia.
