Chase Academy Secures Fourth Milo School Football Title

Chase Academic Foundation clinched the coveted fourth Milo School Football Title with a commanding 3-1 victory over Waramuri Primary at the Ministry of Education Ground.

Both teams entered the final determined to emerge victorious after advancing through different semifinal results.

In the 18th minute, Bryan Wharton of Chase Academy skillfully placed a goal to give his team the early lead.

Omar Sam doubled the lead just two minutes later.

Despite Waramuri’s efforts, Chase maintained their dominance throughout the first half.

In the 60th minute, Wharton struck again with a clever shot from the side of the box, extending Chase’s lead.

Waramuri managed to pull one back with Chetram Thomas scoring in the 70th minute, but Chase held on to secure the win and the Milo school football title.

After the match, Bryan Wharton, Chase Academy’s team captain and recipient of the Most Valuable Player award, expressed satisfaction with the victory, highlighting the team’s determination to correct past shortcomings.

Reflecting on his performance, Wharton believes there is still room for improvement, aiming for even better play in the future.

In the third-place playoff, Dolphin Secondary displayed dominance with a resounding 6-1 victory over President’s College, led by Ezekiel David’s double.

As Chase Academy celebrates their triumph, they look ahead to continued growth and success in school football, building on their impressive performance in the tournament.
