Vice President of Cricket West Indies, Dr Kishore Shallow, is confident that both he and President Ricky Skerritt will be re-elected at next month’s Annual General Meeting and voting congress.
The Skerritt/Shallow ticket won the right to lead West Indies Cricket in March 2019, with Skerritt beating incumbent Dave Cameron 8/4 in the race for president.
Just about two years on and Shallow believes with COVID-19 proving a huge challenge, his administration has done enough to convince the directors they deserve to continue.
Meanwhile, Secretary of the Guyana Cricket Board, Anand Sanasie, is set to challenge Ricky Skerritt for president of Cricket West Indies.Sanasie’s running mate is said be Calvin Hope, Vice President of Barbados Cricket Board.
The Cricket West Indies annual general meeting is set to be held on March 29 and will be done virtually.
