Results from the first National Grade Six Assessment mock exams written on June 9 and 10, are currently being analysed.
The Education Ministry says this is being done with a view of identifying weaknesses children have in the four subject areas of Mathematics, English Language, Science and Social Studies.

Of the 14, 300 students registered to write the NGSA next month, 12, 500 participated in the mock exam, with 2000 coming from the private school system.
A second mock examination is set for July 7 and 8.
