MANUFACTURING SECTOR CALLS FOR PLAN TO ADDRESS IMMEDIATE ENERGY NEEDS.

The local manufacturing sector has for years been adversely affected by unreliable power supply and high energy costs, which prohibits Guyana from competing with other countries.

Newly-elected President of the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association, Rafeek Khan feels that a short-term plan using alternative energy sources, must be put in place to immediately address this decades-old issue.
