Police have arrested the main suspect in the murder of Dr. Colin Roach.
The man was arrested in Berbice.
Investigators say around 5hrs 45 today, officers of the Major Crimes Unit, CID Headquarters and ranks from Region Six conducted an operation where the suspect was held and taken into custody.
Earlier in the week, the police had taken three persons in for questioning in relation to the death of the private physician.
Dr. Roach was found dead in his office on Duke Street on Tuesday. His SUV that was stolen had been found abandoned on the West Coast of Demerara.
