LOWENFIELD WITHDRAWS COURT CASE.

GECOM’s Chief Elections Officer, Keith Lowenfield has withdrawn his application seeking to block two commissioners from voting on a motion they tabled to have him dismissed.

The ruling on the case was expected to be handed down today.

In light of this, Justice Jo-Ann Barlow discontinued the case and discharged the injunction that barred commissioners, Bibi Shadick and Sase Gunraj from voting on the motion.

Both commissioners had submitted that Lowenfield had breached his functions, duties, responsibilities, and obligations regarding the March 2020 general and regional elections.

Lowenfield, deputy CEO Roxanne Myers, and Region Four Returning Officer, Clairmont Mingo; are all facing several electoral fraud charges.
