ILO PRESENTS REPORT ON SUGAR ESTATES CLOSURE, GOV’T TO UTILIZE RECOMMENDATIONS.

The International Labour Organisation today launched a report which examined the socio-economic impact of the closure of sugar estates on the workers.

Finance Minister, Dr. Ashni Singh, thanked the ILO for the study, while pledging to look at the recommendations, with the aim of incorporating same, in the reform plans.
