President Irfaan Ali has called for sustained public education campaign with regards to the safe use of the country’s roadways.
The force’s public relations unit, he pointed out has a vital role to play in this regard.
The Head of State made the call during the opening of the annual police officers conference at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre, this morning.
That aside, President Ali also expressed satisfaction with the efforts made to reposition the force.
However, he noted that much more work remains to be done.
