Electoral Reform Process To Be Led By Guyanese

Given a commitment to strengthen Guyana’s electoral laws; Vice-President Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo has announced that a draft amendment to the Representation of the People’s Act will be completed soon. Upon completion, the draft document will be shared with the Guyanese public, international community, all political parties and civil society groups, including the Guyana Elections Commission for examination and inputs.
