CHANCELLOR INITIATES TALKS FOR NEW COURTS AT PARFAITE HARMONIE AND PARIKA.

Acting Chancellor of the Judiciary, Justice Yonette Cummings-Edwards on Thursday visited presiding Magistrate, Zamella Ally Seepaul at the Leonora Magistrate’s Court.

She was accompanied by Region Three Police Commander, Senior Superintendent Errol Watts and his administrative team.

The Chancellor’s visit facilitated a forum for several concerns to be aired.

These included the importance of Magistrate-Police relations and construction of a walkway from the Leonora Station compound to the Court’s holding area.

Justice Cummings-Edwards, in recognising the need for more courts within the District, initiated talks for the construction of courts at Parfaite Harmonie and Parika.
