Speightland, Hururu, Gunners & High Flyers Gear Up for One Guyana Beach Football Finals

The stage is set for an exhilarating showdown as Speightland, Hururu, Gunners, and High Flyers vie for victory in the highly anticipated One Guyana King and Queen of the Sand Beach Football Tournament.

With the finals scheduled for this Sunday, May 5th, excitement is building among fans and players alike.

The four teams have been diligently honing their skills in preparation for the championship title.

In the semi-finals held on Tuesday, Hururu’s Jasmin Williams secured a decisive victory for her team with a lone goal, defeating Aroima 1-0 in the first game.

Meanwhile, the Speightland girls delivered a dominant performance, overpowering Rockstone with a resounding 6-0 win.

Nikita Wayne led the charge with three goals, supported by Shenessa Cornelius with two goals, and Alliyah Venture contributing one.

In the third game of the night, High Flyers emerged victorious against MS Ballers with a scoreline of 4-2.

Keon Sears netted two goals for High Flyers, with Emanuel Atkins and Anthony McLauren each adding one to the tally.

Ballers fought valiantly, with goals from Shawn Arthur and Demaul Warner.

In the final match-up of the evening, Young Gunners secured a convincing 4-1 victory over Platinum.

Rodensio Tudor showcased his prowess with two goals, while Devonte Tappin and Omarian Ramsammy each contributed one.

Platinum managed to find the back of the net once, courtesy of Tyrese Lewis.

However, Platinum’s journey came to an abrupt end as they were disqualified from the tournament due to misconduct following their game against MS Ballers.

As a result, MS Ballers were automatically awarded the third-place finish.

They will now face off against Hururu in an exhibition match on the night of the finals.

Before the main showdown, Aroima and Rockstone will compete in the female third-place game, setting the stage for the highly anticipated finals.

The female finals will see Speightland take on Hururu, while the male finals will feature a clash between Young Gunners and High Flyers.

The stakes are high, with the winning male team set to claim a prize of one million dollars, while the victorious female team will pocket four hundred thousand dollars in prize money.

As anticipation mounts for the ultimate showdown, fans eagerly await the thrilling action that awaits them on the sandy shores of the PPP/C compound.
