Progress and Prosperity Unveiled: Development Plans for Region Three

Minister of Housing and Water, Collin Croal, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to driving extensive development projects in Region Three, aiming to elevate the standard of living and uplift the socio-economic landscape of the region.

Minister Croal emphasized the pivotal role of infrastructure in fostering community prosperity, highlighting investments earmarked for enhancing housing facilities, road networks, healthcare, education, and water distribution systems across Region Three.

He echoed President Irfaan Ali’s vision for revitalizing and reimagining the West Bank and West Coast of Demerara, which includes plans for new hospitals, malls, superhighways, schools, and a bridge over the Demerara River.

Croal outlined ongoing infrastructural projects, including the first phase of hospital development in De Kindren, road construction in Windsor Forest and Stewartville, a prefabricated school in Tuschen, and ongoing development works at Lust En Rust.

These developments, coupled with commercial activities in the region, signify economic growth and prosperity for the people of Region Three.

As the development plans unfold, residents can anticipate a brighter future, reimagined by President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali.
