The exercise formed part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to promote safer working environments, strengthen awareness of occupational safety and health standards, and engage directly with miners and employers on workplace safety.

During the outreach, workers across several mining camps were engaged and provided with personal protective equipment (PPE), including high-visibility vests and safety boots, to support their protection on the job.

The Ministry remains committed to strengthening occupational safety and health standards and ensuring that workers across all sectors benefit from safer, healthier and more secure working environments.
