As part of the Amelia’s Ward anniversary celebration in Linden, senior citizens were treated to a delightful Saturday brunch, courtesy of re-migrant Guyanese.

The event, held at the Toucan Mall poolside, was hosted by Curtis Chance and his family, re-migrants who have returned to their homeland.

Chance expressed his deep connection to the community, having grown up there, and described the opportunity to give back as a dream come true.

This marks the second annual senior’s brunch organized by Chance and his family, aiming to foster socialization and camaraderie among the elderly residents of Linden.

Approximately 100 seniors attended the event, where they were entertained with activities such as raffles and bingo, and treated to a delicious meal and refreshments.

Chance expressed his hope that the event will become a cherished annual tradition, providing seniors with a joyful gathering to anticipate each year.

The brunch exemplifies the spirit of community and generosity, demonstrating the importance of supporting and honoring the elderly population.
