-says fuel hiccup already being rectified

The Government of Guyana has released a schedule for fuel imports this week, which will be coordinated through the state-owned Guyana Oil Company (GUYOIL), SOL Guyana Incorporated and Rubis Guyana Incorporated.

Guyanese are also being urged not to panic or hoard fuel, as it was discovered one major oil company developed a delay with its fuel shipment. This company, the government noted, has since received fuel and is presently discharging same.

Schedule for fuel imports this week:

Guyana Oil Company:

– 9,000 barrels diesel, expected to arrive in Guyana April 15, 2026 to offload Thursday morning

– 21,000 barrels gasoline, expected to arrive in Guyana April 15, 2026 to offload Thursday morning.

SOL Guyana Inc.:

– 3,000bbls Gasoline, arrived April 13, 2026, vessel arrived 2pm, vessel discharge has commenced, distribution will commence this evening.

– 14,000 bbls diesel arrived April 13, 2026, vessel arrived 2pm, vessel discharge has commenced, distribution will commence this evening.

– 12,000 bbls gasoline, April 14, 2026, expected arrival time 2:20pm

– 6,000 bbls diesel, April 14, 2026, expected arrival time 2:20pm

Rubis Guyana Inc:

– 10,000 bbls gasoline, arrived today April 13, 2026 at 2pm.

– 6,700 bbls Low Sulphur Diesel, arrived today April 13, 2026 at 2pm.

– 4,500 bbls Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel, arrived today April 13, 2026 at 2pm.

– 10,000 bbls gasoline expected April 14, 2026 at 3pm

– 18,000 bbls expected April 14, 2026 at 3pm

– 3,000 bbls expected April 14, 2026 at 3pm
