GDF Dominates Vanguard in Demerara Volleyball Association League

In the latest round of the Demerara Volleyball Association Clubs League, the Guyana Defense Force (GDF) showcased a commanding performance, securing a straight sets victory over Vanguard.

The GDF volleyball team displayed an exceptional performance, dominating their opponents throughout the match.

They secured a convincing 3-0 win, reaffirming their position at the top of the leaderboard.

In the first and second sets, GDF took control with a scoreline of 25-12 in each, showcasing their strength and precision on the court.

They further intensified their dominance in the third set, claiming victory with a remarkable score of 25-7.

Jahleel Roberts emerged as a standout player for the GDF team, leading the way with an impressive tally of 10 points.

Additionally, Steffon Norah displayed exceptional efficiency in his attacking plays, securing 10 points with a 100 percent efficiency rate.

Contributions from other key players such as Mark Stanley, Osworth Dash, and Omari Joseph further solidified GDF’s victory, with each player making significant contributions to the team’s success.

With this triumph, GDF reclaimed the top spot in the points table, amassing a total of 11 points.

They now sit just one point ahead of Castrol Strikers, who are in second place with 10 points, while Premier Eagles hold the third spot with 9 points.

The Demerara Volleyball Association Clubs League features a total of seven teams, including Alphas, Venguys, and Classic Ball Blasters, all vying for supremacy in the competition.
