Recipients of the house lots expressed profound gratitude and excitement, with many seeing it as the realization of a lifelong dream and a source of stability for their families’ future.
Dindayal Narine, one of the beneficiaries, expressed his happiness, noting that he had never owned a house lot before and was elated to secure one for himself and his family.
Hadia Clarke shared her excitement, emphasizing that receiving the house lot came at the perfect time for her to manage the payment process and plan for the future.
Rodwyn Wilson conveyed his happiness at finally acquiring a house lot after a long wait, expressing gratitude for the opportunity provided by the government.
Radha Barbaram, reflecting on the journey since 2011, expressed optimism about paying off the lot and beginning the construction of her home.
Koaito, after waiting for nine years, expressed eagerness to start a family and build his house on the allotted lot.
Minister of Housing and Water, Collin Croal, underscored the importance of equitable distribution and pledged ongoing efforts to address the housing needs nationwide.
He highlighted the targeted areas within Wales, including Vriesland, Laurentia Catherina, Lorenzo, and Viva La Force Planation.
Croal emphasized that Wales would develop into a town, with plans for five blocks to accommodate residents.
The allocation of house lots marks another step towards fulfilling the government’s manifesto promise of delivering fifty thousand house lots in its first term.
