In response, Sri Lanka successfully chased down the target of 135 runs in 18.4 overs, led by Vishmi Gunarathne and Harshitha Samarawickrama, both scoring 35 runs each.

In the second game, rain interruptions led to a revised target under the Duckworth Lewis method.
