Today, the Richard Ishmael Secondary School organized a career fair and exhibition, aiming to provide students with resources to help them navigate their career choices.

Among the participants at the career fair were esteemed institutions such as the Joint Services, Guyana Technical Institute, and the Art Williams and Harry Aeronautical Engineering School.

Teacher Karran Singh shared insights into the objectives of the career fair, emphasizing the school’s desire to expose students to the wide array of career opportunities available.

Singh expressed the school’s commitment to guiding students towards recognizing the multitude of career paths accessible to them.

Grade Eight student Akeelah Smith also reflected on the impact of the event, highlighting its educational value for students, particularly those uncertain about their future career paths.

Smith expressed appreciation for the fair’s role in providing clarity and inspiration to students, empowering them to pursue their aspirations with determination.

The teachers expressed their hope that the success of their career fair will motivate other schools to organize similar events, fostering a culture of support and guidance to ensure students’ success.
