PAC MEMBERS SUGGEST BETTER COORDINATION TO PREVENT OVERPAYMENTS OF GOV’T EMPLOYEES.

Since the Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee (PAC) began examining the 2016 Auditor General’s Report, the issue of overpayment of salaries to public servants has been repeatedly coming up for discussion.

During another meeting today, members sought to examine ways in which they can prevent a recurrence, after it was found that millions of dollars in overpayments were made to staff attached to the Health Ministry.
