GOV’T TO INVEST MORE IN AQUACULTURE

Published

Government has been making progress in developing Aquaculture in Guyana. So says Agriculture Minister, Zulfikar Mustapha, as he outlined plans for increasing production in this sector.

He noted that investments are being made to develop the sector through the Aquaculture stations in Mon Repos, Essequibo and Berbice.

Three species of fish – Hassar, tilapia and tambaqui will be cultivated.
