GOV’T EXTENDS ELIGIBILITY TIMELINE FOR “BECAUSE WE CARE” CASH GRANT.

Children registered for nursery school from July 01 to 30 are now eligible for the “because we care” cash grant, as the education ministry extends the eligibility deadline.

The ministry says in areas where distribution has been completed, the Regional Democratic Council will provide a date for the parents of these children to uplift the grants.

Meanwhile, disbursement of the cash grants commenced in Region Four today.

The Ministry says over 600 million dollars will be given out in this region, with exercise continuing on Saturday and concluding on Monday, August 09.
