Finance minister says IMF projection signifies new optimism in local economy

The recent projection by the International Monetary Fund that Guyana’s economy will grow by 16.4 percent in 2021 signifies new optimism in the local economy.

So says Finance Minister Dr. Ashni Singh, who feels that this also signals the return to democracy and political and economic stability to the country.
