CHINA EXPRESSES WILLINGNESS TO ASSIST WITH FLOOD RELIEF EFFORTS HERE

The Chinese Government has expressed a willingness to assist Guyana with its ongoing flood relief efforts.

This was communicated to Agriculture Minister, Zulfikar Mustapha, in a meeting today with the Chargé d’affaires of the Chinese Embassy here.

During the meeting the two officials discussed areas for collaboration in the agriculture sector.

They discussed areas for collaboration in terms of offering technical assistance in the aquaculture and non-traditional sectors.
