1440px) 100vw, 1440px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications for financing from the Guyana Development Bank will be available online, as the government moves to make the process easier for small and first-time entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finance Minister Dr. Ashni Singh says offices will also be established across all ten&nbsp;administrative&nbsp;regions for persons who need face-to-face assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new online platform will allow applicants to submit their applications, track their progress and manage their loans once approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cWe\u2019ve also been doing a lot of work on developing a digital platform an online facility which is going to be very easy to use um and through that online facility persons are going to be able to go on access a very&nbsp;very&nbsp;simply access the facility um submit their applications follow and track the progress of their applications and um and then ultimately uh&nbsp;uh&nbsp;when approved be able to manage their uh their loan including you know tracking repayment obligations&nbsp;etc&nbsp;through the entire life cycle of their loan<\/strong>,\u201d he said. <br>The platform is expected to simplify the application process, while persons who need assistance in person will also have access to the bank&#8217;s offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<strong>It will also have a facility to allow persons to request an appointment if they would like to for one reason or another to have a face-to-face interaction with an office of the bank it does provide them with the option to request to book an appointment and once they book that an appointment they&#8217;d be given a slot and they&#8217;d be invited to visit one of the offices of the bank at one of a wide range of locations that we&#8217;re going to be setting up um across the length and breadth of the country across all 10 regions,\u201d<\/strong> he explained. <br>The offices are expected to be established across all ten regions, giving entrepreneurs the option of booking an appointment for face-to-face assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Development Bank was officially launched on Monday, with financing targeting small businesses and
