Cross-examination also brought further details about GECOM’s server, which Giddings removed from the Ashmin’s Building for safekeeping during a bomb scare. Special Prosecutor Latchmie Rahamat zeroed in on his testimony.

“He would also have indicated with his evidence from yesterday and under cross examination that no one tampered with that server, that he spent less than a minute with it secured it in his vehicle. He also indicated that under cross examination that based on the data base that was being used internally at GECOM it was impossible even if he had the relevant equipment to make any changes to any of the information on the server,” she said.

Another significant aspect of Giddings’ evidence concerned differences he said he observed between versions of election documents sent to him for publication.

He testified that one updated version reflected approximately 400 fewer votes for APNU and 100 fewer votes for the PPP, as well as a reduction in the number of spoilt ballots.

Meanwhile, Emergency Medical Technician and Dispatcher Candice Audain also testified about an emergency call received from the Ashmin’s Building on March 14, 2020. Audain said the call came in at approximately 11 hours 16 on the said day, prompting the dispatch of Ambulance Number 15.

Her testimony has concluded.

Giddings will return to court tomorrow, when his cross-examination is expected to continue.

-On 2020 election declarations, server & vote figures -by Kimberly Giddings Key details surrounding election declarations, differences in vote figures and the security of GECOM’s server emerged today as former…

[467,350
488,370,412,405
post-31927","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-crime-and-security","category-news","tag-488","tag-guyana","tag-ncn-guyana","tag-ncn-news
["GET
