{"id":31759,"date":"2026-09-03T20:18:49","date_gmt":"2026-09-04T00:18:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=31759"},"modified":"2026-09-03T20:20:35","modified_gmt":"2026-09-04T00:20:35","slug":"major-infrastructure-upgrades-set-for-region-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/major-infrastructure-upgrades-set-for-region-10\/","title":{"rendered":"Major infrastructure upgrades set for Region 10"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-by Shamiah Grant <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Significant infrastructural improvements are on the horizon for Region Ten.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Public Works Minister Juan Edghill made the announcement during Wednesday\u2019s&nbsp;Cabinet outreach, assuring residents that key community projects are being prioritized to drive local development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Minister Edghill highlighted that over the past five years, Region Ten has seen major investments in public infrastructure, including extensive road upgrades, drainage improvements, and the refurbishment of river landing sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He outlined several milestone projects, such as the Linden to Mabura Road&nbsp;and the rehabilitation of the&nbsp;Linden-Soesdyke Highway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cWe are 80 per cent complete with the Linden to Mabura Road, we have just signed a contract to continue another 30 KLM beyond Mabura to keep going on to Kurupukari;
