Dr. Bovell told NCN news that the hospital&#8217;s <strong>Outpatient Department<\/strong>has recordedmorethan<strong> 33,000 patient visits<\/strong>, while the <strong>Accident and Emergency Department<\/strong> has treated <strong>more than 26,000 patients<\/strong> during the same period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;To see more than 26,000 in an accident and emergency, you\u2019re speaking of a hospital that is seventy five bed hospital, a regional hospital to me that is a significant number of persons that have received emergency healthcare,&#8221; she said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Bovell said the hospital offers a comprehensive range of free medical and specialised services, including audiology, radiology, intensive care, anaesthesiology, maternal and child health, dental care, chest and spirometry clinics, psychology, optometry, and surgical services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She noted that the hospital is equipped to perform procedures such as <strong>myomectomies<\/strong> to remove uterine fibroids, the removal of ovarian cysts among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We have done appendectomies, meaning the removal of your appendix, that&#8217;s if it&#8217;s inflamed and it&#8217;s bothering you, we can remove it. We&#8217;ve removed gall stones before. We&#8217;ve done bone repairs.
