{"id":30794,"date":"2026-07-09T20:11:35","date_gmt":"2026-07-10T00:11:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=30794"},"modified":"2026-07-09T20:11:35","modified_gmt":"2026-07-10T00:11:35","slug":"ngsa-results-to-be-released-tomorrow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/ngsa-results-to-be-released-tomorrow\/","title":{"rendered":"NGSA Results to be released tomorrow"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-by Kristin Josiah<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thousands of grade six pupils across Guyana will learn their secondary school placements\u00a0tomorrow as the Ministry of Education releases the 2026 NGSA results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More than 15,000 students from across Guyana were registered to sit the\u00a0National Grade Six Assessment NGSA this year.\u00a0The nationwide secondary school placement examinations were administered on April 29\u00a0and 30, with the results scheduled to be released tomorrow at 11 hours at the Arthur Chung Conference Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Education officials are expected to announce the top performing pupils, regional\u00a0performances and national statistics.\u00a0Candidates sat examinations in English, mathematics, science and social studies.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Minister of Education Sonia Parag recently encouraged students to view the results of\u00a0the placement examination as a stepping stone to their educational future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;And so whatever the results are, I want you to take it.\u00a0I want you to use it as your propeller to a future, a bright future in your career path,\u00a0whether it&#8217;s ensuring that you go to university, doing your undergraduate, your\u00a0master&#8217;s, your Ph.D., whatever it is.\u00a0I just want you to know that this is one stepping stone,&#8221;<\/strong> she said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ministry is encouraging the public to follow its official channels for updates on\u00a0the publication of results.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;So parents, you can mark that in your calendar.\u00a0Children, you can also mark that in your calendar.It&#8217;s going to be released through the government of Guyana and the Ministry of\u00a0Education on the 10th of July,&#8221;<\/strong> she reiterated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0According to the Ministry of Education, secondary school placement is determined by\u00a0students&#8217; NGSA scores, area of residence and available spaces at schools.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>-by Kristin Josiah Thousands of grade six pupils across Guyana will learn their secondary school placements\u00a0tomorrow as the Ministry of Education releases the 2026 NGSA results.
