A total of 3,876 graduates from across the region graduated today,\u00a0the latest historic milestone reached by GOAL since its 2021 launch\u00a0to expand access to education.\u00a0The graduation was held under the theme\u00a0‘A Celebration for National Development’. Today’s graduation featured a total of 2,858 women and 1,018 men\u00a0graduating under various programs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For instance, 1,150 graduated from the GROW certified program,\u00a0while 1,308 graduated from certificate and vocational programs.There were 396 graduates from the bachelor’s degree programs,\u00a0836 master’s degree graduates,\u00a0and for the first time since GOAL’s inception, 35 doctoral graduates.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several scholars shared expressions of gratitude,\u00a0telling NCN News about the challenges they overcame\u00a0to successfully graduate from their programme.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“So despite of being pregnant and on the program,\u00a0as well as working,\u00a0working and also doing the RN program,\u00a0I was able to navigate and get my studies completed,” one graduate, Ravina Hernandez said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another graduate, Krishel Barker said, “To me it was a great opportunity,\u00a0and for me to have a certificate in bachelor’s in science for nursing.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It was truly an enlightening experience,\u00a0I must say.\u00a0It was something that I’ve never experienced before, definitely. Actually completing a whole course while online.\u00a0The only challenges I had is with balancing work and studying at the same time,” Kenneth Edwards told NCN. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
