{"id":30553,"date":"2026-06-22T20:13:57","date_gmt":"2026-06-23T00:13:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=30553"},"modified":"2026-06-22T20:13:57","modified_gmt":"2026-06-23T00:13:57","slug":"youth-entrepreneurs-urged-to-build-bankable-businesses-ahead-of-guyana-development-bank-arrival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/youth-entrepreneurs-urged-to-build-bankable-businesses-ahead-of-guyana-development-bank-arrival\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth entrepreneurs urged to build bankable businesses ahead of Guyana Development Bank arrival"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-by Nakasia Logan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Young entrepreneurs are being urged to develop innovative\u00a0and sustainable business ideas as government prepares to launch the Guyana Development Bank,\u00a0a move expected to expand access to financing and support enterprise growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The message\u00a0was highlighted during the fifth installment of the Econome Summit, which focused on equipping\u00a0young business owners with the skills and mindset needed to succeed in an increasingly\u00a0competitive economy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founder of Econome, Matthew Gaul, said the fifth installment of the summit was held under the\u00a0&#8216;Swim Differently&#8217; theme, which encouraged entrepreneurs to chart unique business\u00a0paths and embrace innovation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;In Guyana, we have what we call like a copycat culture.
