{"id":30445,"date":"2026-06-16T19:36:15","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T23:36:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=30445"},"modified":"2026-06-16T19:36:15","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T23:36:15","slug":"restaurant-week-elevates-gastronomy-in-guyana-gta-director","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/restaurant-week-elevates-gastronomy-in-guyana-gta-director\/","title":{"rendered":"Restaurant week elevates gastronomy in Guyana &#8211; GTA Director"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-by David Clarke <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Guyana Restaurant Week continues to play a key role in promoting the country&#8217;s culinary\u00a0heritage, while supporting the growth of gastronomy as a pillar of Guyana&#8217;s orange economy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking at the launch of the 19th season of Restaurant Week, Director of the Guyana\u00a0Tourism Authority, Kamrul Baksh, says the initiative has significantly boosted the profile of Guyanese\u00a0cuisine both locally and internationally.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I know that Guyana Restaurant Week, this initiative, has certainly elevated the profile\u00a0of Guyana&#8217;s gastronomy.
