Walrond"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>-by Kimberly Giddings <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new US$28 million dollar Brickdam Police Headquarters is expected to be completed very soon.\u00a0Minister of Home Affairs, Oneidge Walrond told NCN News that construction works on the building are steadily advancing.\u00a0She provided details on the ongoing works as the project moves closer to completion.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;We&#8217;re 85 per cent completed. We are now going to install the fire suppression system and the electrical.\u00a0And the project will be completed by December 2026, the end of this year,&#8221;<\/strong> she said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 12-story edifice will serve as Guyana&#8217;s modern police headquarters upon completion.
