The incident occurred at approximately 2:00 AM on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_7304-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-29366\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_7304-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_7304-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_7304-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_7304.jpeg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Initial reports suggest that a gas cylinder may have been the source of the explosion.
