{"id":29335,"date":"2026-04-11T19:55:06","date_gmt":"2026-04-11T23:55:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=29335"},"modified":"2026-04-11T19:55:06","modified_gmt":"2026-04-11T23:55:06","slug":"skills-training-programme-launched-for-persons-with-disabilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/skills-training-programme-launched-for-persons-with-disabilities\/","title":{"rendered":"Skills training programme launched for persons with disabilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Under the theme Creating a Bright Future for All,\u00a0the Office of the Prime Minister, through its Industry and Innovation Unit,\u00a0launched an ICT-inclusive skills training program for persons with disabilities.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The launch occurred on Friday at the Empower Guyana Center in Palmyra, Berbice.\u00a0Delivering the feature address, Finance Minister Dr. Ashni Singh\u00a0noted the importance of empowering persons with disability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He pointed out that while technology continues to advance rapidly,\u00a0these individuals are not being left behind\u00a0as opportunities are available to support and enhance their participation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;This is the power of technology.\u00a0Today, you have artificial intelligence, AI.
