Modeled after the Aishalton terminal, this facility will provide a modern, comfortable space for passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the airstrip remains closed for final touches, the emergency road works connecting Karasabai to Lethem remain at a satisfactory level to ensure the community stays connected during this transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This $993 million investment by the Ministry of Public Works is part of the government\u2019s broader initiative to bridge the gap between the coastland and the hinterland, ensuring safer, faster, and more reliable travel for the people of Karasabai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This upgrade also intends to boost local exports to regional and national markets.
