CEO of the National Communications Network (NCN), Neaz Subhan was last evening recognised for his contributions to preserving the Indian culture through his craft at the annual Pravasi Bharatiya Divas & World Hindi Day 2026 celebration, which was hosted by the High Commission of India at the Swami Cultural Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event featured vibrant cultural performances, inspiring speeches, and community spirit, highlighting the enduring role of Hindi in Guyana\u2019s diverse heritage, and showcasing the richness of Indian traditions. Several scholars and leaders also emphasised the importance of preserving Hindi as a living language. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a subsequent post, the NCN CEO expressed his appreciation for the accolade, adding that he felt fortunate to be celebrated for a lifelong passion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I am indeed humbled and privileged to be honored and recognised by the Government of India, through the Indian High Commission in Guyana, for my work in promoting and helping to preserve Indian culture here in our beloved country. For the many decades I have worked in this regard, primarily through the production of Indian-themed plays, music, the Indian Arrival Day Melas by the IAC and being the representative of Indo-Guyanese on the ERC, I never imagined such recognition,” he noted. <\/p>\n\n\n

Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is observed annually on January 9 to celebrate the vital contributions of the overseas Indian community to India’s progress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  6. Dr. Kumar Sukhraj- Vice President of the Guyana Central Arya Samaj<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
