{"id":27710,"date":"2026-01-07T18:01:37","date_gmt":"2026-01-07T22:01:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=27710"},"modified":"2026-01-07T18:01:37","modified_gmt":"2026-01-07T22:01:37","slug":"mopw-targets-east-bank-soesdyke-traffic-buildup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/mopw-targets-east-bank-soesdyke-traffic-buildup\/","title":{"rendered":"MOPW targets East Bank-Soesdyke traffic buildup"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>by Na\u2019Asia Bristol<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Public Works Ministry is addressing traffic congestion at the Soesdyke\u2013Linden Highway Junction by improving road conditions and implementing traffic management. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister Juan Edghill confirmed that necessary repairs will be made promptly, accommodating rush-hour traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work will be executed through a partnership between the contractors involved in both the highway resurfacing and the Good Success to Timehri project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<strong>So within a couple of days we can get this cleaned up. It&#8217;s going to be a joint approach headed by the Special Projects Unit, in collaboration with the contractor on the Linden-Soesdyke and the Good Success to Timehri [project] and we&#8217;ll square up here because we are building an expanded roundabout here, with drainage and all the rest of it<\/strong>,&#8221; the minister explained. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is being done under the Good Success to Timehri East Bank Road Project.
