After that, the law will be enforced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister of Home Affairs, Oneidge Walrond&#8217;s decision follows a flood of tint waiver requests on her first day and police data showing no link between tint and crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry also noted that due to climate change and UV exposure, tints are essential for health and comfort.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guyanese no longer have to apply for a tint permit, but the removal of the waiver system does not give motorists the right to excessively darken their vehicles.
