Pauline Sukhai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The village council of Chenapou, utilizing funds allocated by the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs and proceeds from the Low Carbon Development Strategy (LCDS), is constructing various essential facilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These projects include an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) hub, an arts and crafts center, a sewing center, as well as a pavilion and playfield. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These developments are designed to meet the educational and recreational needs of residents while also encouraging local economic growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This is what we want to see, proceeds of the resources being spent to alleviate conditions in your village, the conditions under which the villagers operate,&#8221; said Minister Sukhai, emphasizing the government&#8217;s focus on improving village infrastructure and opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toshao Edward McGarell explained the benefits these projects will bring to the village. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s going to help a lot; our elders will be more in the arts and crafts and sewing center.
