The Kashif and Shanghai One Guyana National Futsal Championship will continue on New Year\u2019s Day as the final four teams battle for a spot in the championship final, where a two-million-dollar cash prize awaits the winner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The semifinal matches will be held on Wednesday, January 3, at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After intense competition with 64 teams, the remaining semi-finalists are Sparta Boss, Back Circle \u2018A\u2019, Bent Street \u2018A\u2019, and Road Warriors, all vying for the coveted prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bent Street \u2018A\u2019 made their way to the semifinals after a series of close victories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They narrowly defeated Region 9 (2-1), Spaniard (3-2), Stabroek \u2018B\u2019 (5-2), and Team Cruel (6-3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In contrast, Road Warriors were dominant throughout the tournament, securing convincing wins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They first demolished Foot Steppers 10-2, followed by an 8-3 victory over Victoria Eagles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their impressive run continued with a 10-0 win over Ballers United of Berbice and a 9-1 thrashing of Gold Is Money in the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first semifinal will feature Sparta Boss against Back Circle \u2018A\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sparta Boss advanced with strong performances, including a 12-0 victory over Melanie, a 7-4 win over Festival City, a 5-2 victory against Bent Street \u2018B\u2019, and a 6-3 triumph over Stabroek Ballers \u2018A\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back Circle \u2018A\u2019, led by the tournament’s top scorer, Bevney Marks, who has netted 22 goals, has been exceptional in their offensive play. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have scored the most goals in the competition, netting 49 in just four matches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their impressive victories include 12-0 and 16-0 routs of Essequibo and Vryheid\u2019s Lust, respectively, and a 5-2 win over North East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winners of the One Guyana National Futsal Championship will claim the top prize of two million dollars, while the runners-up will receive one million. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third and fourth place teams will earn 500,000 and 200,000 dollars, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
