{"id":25950,"date":"2025-02-01T19:25:18","date_gmt":"2025-02-01T19:25:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=25950"},"modified":"2025-02-01T19:25:19","modified_gmt":"2025-02-01T19:25:19","slug":"first-lady-leads-timehri-santa-parade-spreading-christmas-cheer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/first-lady-leads-timehri-santa-parade-spreading-christmas-cheer\/","title":{"rendered":"First Lady Leads Timehri Santa Parade, Spreading Christmas Cheer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p><em>By Delicia Janneire<\/em><br><em>December 21, 2024<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Christmas spirit was alive and well in Timehri last evening, thanks to the annual Toy Distribution and Santa Road Parade, a heartwarming event held in collaboration with the Office of the First Lady, Arya Ali, and the Cheddi Jagan International Airport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This marks the 14th edition of the Santa Road parade, which saw hundreds of children and families come together to celebrate the festive season of giving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First Lady Arya Ali, who partnered with the Cheddi Jagan International Airport for this year\u2019s event, expressed her excitement about the plans for the upcoming Georgetown parade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She shared, \u201cWe have a route marked out, and it\u2019s going to end at the Kingston Esplanade. We have toys, food from institutional care, and a Christmas concert to look forward to.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The parade was a major highlight, bringing joy to the children of Timehri as they received gifts and treats to celebrate the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister of Public Works, Bishop Juan Edghill, also attended the parade and emphasized the importance of selfless giving during the Christmas season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is also a very good thing to renew our commitment to living together as brothers and sisters.
