{"id":25807,"date":"2025-01-27T16:13:11","date_gmt":"2025-01-27T16:13:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=25807"},"modified":"2025-01-27T16:13:12","modified_gmt":"2025-01-27T16:13:12","slug":"40-individuals-graduate-from-board-of-industrial-training-programs-in-region-three","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/40-individuals-graduate-from-board-of-industrial-training-programs-in-region-three\/","title":{"rendered":"40 Individuals Graduate from Board of Industrial Training Programs in Region Three"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p><em>By Kimberly Giddings<\/em><br><em>December 16, 2024<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Forty individuals in Region Three are now equipped with new skills and certifications after completing training programs offered by the Ministry of Labour\u2019s Board of Industrial Training (BIT). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The graduation ceremony took place today, celebrating the achievements of participants trained in Heavy-Duty Equipment Operation and Electrical Installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nineteen graduates completed training in Electrical Installation, while 22 were certified in Heavy-Duty Equipment Operation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training was conducted at the Leonora Technical Institute and the Sabeelur Rashaad Islamic Training Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The graduates expressed their gratitude and shared plans for their futures. Among them was Natasha Nebblet, who intends to further her knowledge in electrical studies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mohammed Halley, another graduate, emphasized his passion for advocacy, noting that his certification will allow him to teach others and help them develop their skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Raymond Williams highlighted how the program will improve his ability to provide for his family with better earning opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Onaia Roberts, a graduate of the Heavy-Duty Equipment Operation program, encouraged young women and single parents to take advantage of the free courses offered by BIT. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She emphasized that these programs provide valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, BIT invested approximately $16 million in Region Three.
