{"id":25629,"date":"2025-01-17T18:07:52","date_gmt":"2025-01-17T18:07:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=25629"},"modified":"2025-01-17T18:07:53","modified_gmt":"2025-01-17T18:07:53","slug":"distribution-of-2025-old-age-pension-booklets-underway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/distribution-of-2025-old-age-pension-booklets-underway\/","title":{"rendered":"Distribution of 2025 Old Age Pension Booklets Underway"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p><em>By Celestine Chacon | December 9, 2024<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Human Services and Social Security has begun distributing Old Age Pension booklets for 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This nationwide initiative, which started last week, will run until January 31, 2025, ensuring that all eligible pensioners receive their booklets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister of Human Services and Social Security, Dr. Vindhya Persaud, emphasized that booklets would continue to be available throughout the year for pensioners celebrating their 65th birthday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis process is expected to continue into the new year and conclude on January 31 in a mass way. However, books will be available throughout the year as pensioners celebrate their 65th birthday,\u201d the Minister stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To make the process more inclusive, the Ministry has an online registry for pensioners requiring shut-in services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Families can register elderly individuals by providing their name, contact information, and address via the Ministry\u2019s Facebook page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative allows pension booklets to be delivered directly to homes, along with registration for the $100,000 cash grant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the Ministry has announced the start of Permanent Disability booklet distribution in Regions One, Seven, Eight, and Nine this week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These booklets will be distributed at the same sites as the pension booklets, with dates for other regions to be announced soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pensioners are encouraged to visit the Ministry\u2019s Facebook page for updated information on distribution sites and schedules.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Celestine Chacon | December 9, 2024 The Ministry of Human Services and Social Security has begun distributing Old Age Pension booklets for 2025.
