{"id":25471,"date":"2025-01-16T15:56:52","date_gmt":"2025-01-16T15:56:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=25471"},"modified":"2025-01-16T15:57:23","modified_gmt":"2025-01-16T15:57:23","slug":"east-bank-demerara-small-business-owners-receive-support-under-livelihood-restoration-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/east-bank-demerara-small-business-owners-receive-support-under-livelihood-restoration-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"East Bank Demerara Small Business Owners Receive Support under Livelihood Restoration Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p><em>By Saskia Warrick | December 4, 2024<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seven small business owners on the East Bank of Demerara, whose operations were affected by infrastructure works under the Adequate Housing and Urban Accessibility Programme (AHUAP), are receiving a fresh start through cash entitlements from the Ministry of Housing and Water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The total sum of 676,000 Guyanese dollars was distributed to these beneficiaries under the programme&#8217;s Livelihood Restoration Plan (LRP), designed to support individuals economically displaced by the ongoing infrastructure works in their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister of Housing and Water, Hon.
