Bartica\u2019s Billy Smith made an immediate impact, scoring a superb goal in the 8th minute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>East Ruimveldt&#8217;s Josiah Norton responded just a minute later with an equalizer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Smith wasn&#8217;t done, and he netted two more goals, completing his hat-trick by the 35th minute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reizer Reid and Ezekiel Baldeo also contributed with goals in the 50th and 60th minutes, leading Bartica to a dominant 5-1 victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the second match, President\u2019s College went up against defending champions Chase Academy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The game was one-sided as Chase Academy cruised to a 4-0 win. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Isaiah Ifill opened the scoring in the 12th minute, followed by Shaquan David doubling the lead in the 20th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jaden Tasher made it 3-0 in the 25th minute, and Neeiaz Baksh sealed the victory with a goal in the 36th minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Waramuri secured a 2-1 comeback victory over South Ruimveldt at the CARFESTA Avenue ground. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>South Ruimveldt took the lead with a goal from Tyrese Pemberton in the 19th minute, but Waramuri responded with goals from Rondell Peters and Erwin Booker in the 26th and 39th minutes, securing the win.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>October 28, 2024 The Republic Bank Limited Schools U18 Football League kicked off with two thrilling matches on Sunday at the Ministry of Education ground.
