A devastating fire early this morning has left a family of six homeless and their business in ruins at Lot 22, Block 12, Non Pariel, East Coast Demerara. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The blaze destroyed their home and their pillow and furniture factory, leaving them in urgent need of assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The family, which includes Amesha Jangber, her husband Mohammed Azad Ali, their children Ackeema Ali (3), Brienne Wallace (6), Ackeem Ali (22), and a nephew, was left to salvage what they could as flames rapidly consumed their property. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fire reportedly started when a malfunctioning machine in their backyard ignited, quickly spreading to nearby materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amesha Jangber described the chaos as she and her workers attempted to control the fire with water, but their efforts were in vain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fire spread too quickly, forcing them to evacuate and seek help from neighbors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trinilall Puran, the family\u2019s neighbor, witnessed the fire as he was preparing to leave his home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He attempted to help by moving what he could from the burning building but was unable to prevent the extensive damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fire not only destroyed the family’s home and business but also caused significant damage to several surrounding buildings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The affected family is now seeking support and assistance from the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
