{"id":21517,"date":"2024-07-27T02:02:50","date_gmt":"2024-07-27T02:02:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=21517"},"modified":"2024-07-27T02:02:59","modified_gmt":"2024-07-27T02:02:59","slug":"construction-progresses-on-diamond-regional-smart-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/construction-progresses-on-diamond-regional-smart-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"Construction Progresses on Diamond Regional Smart Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>By Delicia Janneire<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The construction of the new Diamond Regional Smart Hospital is making significant strides, with the physical structure now prominently taking shape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Health Minister Dr. Frank Anthony provided an update on the project during a recent site visit, noting that the hospital&#8217;s framework is well underway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walls are being erected, and the layout of the rooms is becoming increasingly visible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project remains on schedule, with completion expected by December or, at the latest, the first quarter of next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 75-bed facility will feature three operating theatres equipped with basic surgical capabilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will also include advanced digital systems such as a full radiology diagnostic suite, aligning it with the standards of the New Amsterdam and Linden hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the hospital will offer a 24-hour accident and emergency unit and state-of-the-art laboratories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The facility is anticipated to serve over 40,000 residents in the surrounding area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The construction is being carried out by the China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation (Sinopharm).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Delicia Janneire The construction of the new Diamond Regional Smart Hospital is making significant strides, with the physical structure now prominently taking shape.
