{"id":20730,"date":"2024-06-19T17:54:15","date_gmt":"2024-06-19T17:54:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=20730"},"modified":"2024-06-19T17:54:35","modified_gmt":"2024-06-19T17:54:35","slug":"guyoil-introduces-cashless-transactions-at-selected-service-stations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/guyoil-introduces-cashless-transactions-at-selected-service-stations\/","title":{"rendered":"GUYOIL Introduces Cashless Transactions at Selected Service Stations"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>By Samuel Gillis<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Guyana Oil Company (GUYOIL) has launched a new cashless payment option at three of its 24-hour service stations, in partnership with Republic Bank Guyana. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative aims to improve customer convenience and safety. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers can now use cashless transactions at GUYOIL stations located in Providence, East Bank Demerara, and on Sheriff and Regent Streets in Georgetown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This service allows for the purchase of fuel types like gasoline, diesel, and kerosene, as well as various accessories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa Madramuthoo, GUYOIL&#8217;s Marketing Manager, explained that this new service enables customers to complete transactions from their vehicles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers need only show their debit or credit card with a chip to the attendant, swipe or tap, and complete their purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, GUYOIL introduced Mobile Money Guyana at all its stations, reinforcing safety and convenience as essential priorities amidst Guyana&#8217;s development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Madramuthoo emphasized that the cashless option reduces the risk associated with carrying cash, aligning with broader security measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Madramuthoo highlighted that alongside these operational enhancements, GUYOIL will soon celebrate its 48th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in its service to customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new cashless payment method at GUYOIL stations is open to all customers, requiring only a Visa or Mastercard, or any debit card for transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Samuel Gillis The Guyana Oil Company (GUYOIL) has launched a new cashless payment option at three of its 24-hour service stations, in partnership with Republic Bank Guyana.
